Carranza – “I was really impressed.”

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (January 22, 2020) —

Inter Miami forward Julián Carranza was allowed to speak with the media at the team’s second training session on Tuesday. He spoke about his impressions thus far concerning Miami’s first preseason.

“I think we find a very hard-working team. We understood what the coach [Diego Alonso] was trying to convey and I think found ourselves as a very good person in [Diego] too.”

He expanded on his thoughts on Diego Alonso from the team’s first-ever training session yesterday.

“I see only a coach who wants to win, wants to support this team. At yesterday’s training session, the team talk we had was very clear. He has the idea of coming in and winning,” said Carranza. “We come to work and give our best.”

Lastly, he was asked about the facilities he will call home as an Inter Miami player.

“We went on Sunday to visit. I was really impressed. I’d seen pictures, but I hadn’t seen it personally. It was a crazy thing. It’s a first-class facility. I wasn’t the only one who was impressed, most of the players felt that way. I didn’t expect it to be that great.”
