La Liga In a low-scoring title race

MIAMI, Fla. — (10 March 2020) — The title race this year in Spain is not only up for grabs, but stands to be one of he lowest point totals in recent years.

Real Madrid’s loss at the Estadio Villamarin to Real Betis, combined with Barça narrow escape at the Camp Nou against Real Sociedad allowed the Blaugrana to slip back into first place, one point ahead of Los Blancos.

Eleven rounds remain in the 2019-2020 season. Round 29 sees the next installment of El Gran Derbi between city rivals Real Betis Balompié and Sevilla Football Club facing off at the Estadio Ramón Sanchez Pizjuan.
