Superliga Argentina might have two seasons without relegation

The president of Lanús opined that when Argentine football returns you are likely to see two seasons without relegation from the top division.

The president of Club Atlético Lanús, Nicolás Russo, speaking in a radio interview, offered his opinion and when Argentine football returns to activity, we can expect to see “two years without relegation” in the Argentine top division, in order to alleviate the current economic crisis as a result of the general stoppage and the expansion of the Coronavirus.

In the interview with Radio La Red, the top Lanús executive affirmed:

Regarding the return to activity, Russo acknowledged that “with luck you can return to training in June” but it would be August before there could be football again, and even that would be with spectatotrs in the stadiums to avoid contagion.
